  • Day 2

    Breakfast at the hotel. Explore the top sights and attractions on either side of the Thames and enjoy a river cruise along with three free walking tours: the Changing of the Guard, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Walk and the Jack the Ripper tour. This is the easiest way to see London from A to Z.
    There are three routes, red, blue and yellow, with five main starting points. The blue route is known as the Museum Tour and stops at the Victoria and Albert Museum, the British Museum and Kensington Palace among many.

    Hop off and explore London’s many landmarks. Use the red route and take the children to visit the aquarium to meet the more than 5,000 species of sea creatures. A short stroll away is the extraordinary Coca-Cola London Eye, which enjoys views as far away as Windsor Castle.

    Switch routes and use the yellow line to visit St James’s Park, Buckingham Palace or St Paul’s Cathedral while further downriver, there’s Shakespeare’s Globe theatre, Tower Bridge and the notorious Tower of London.

    And then there’s the hop on-hop off Thames cruise between Westminster and Greenwich, and the three walking tours. Follow the footsteps of evil killer Jack the Ripper through Whitechapel or enjoy the pomp and ceremony of the Changing of the Guard. Tour the London locations of Rock ‘n’ Roll legends such as the Beatles, David Bowie, Pink Floyd and many more.

    The Coca-Cola London Eye stands an impressive 135 metres high offering unsurpassable views all around for over 40km. You will be treated to a bird’s eye view of many world famous attractions including Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey. Ever since it was opened at the beginning of the century, this enormous Ferris wheel has appeared in numerous films and is visited by over 3.5 million people a year. Each air-conditioned capsule can hold up to 25 people and are equipped with six touch screen displays with information on the city sights. The capsules rotate around a special device allowing visitors stunning ever-changing panoramic views over the city while the wheel turns slowly but progressively.

    Also included is entry to the Coca-Cola London Eye 4D Experience, a stimulating multi-sensory 3D theatre experience that brings London to life with wind, bubbles and even smells.

    Beat the queues and buy a priority boarding ticket, then just go to the Priority Access Check-In Desk; a quick and simple way to beat the queues that can last more than an hour during the high season.

  • Day 3

    Breakfast at the hotel.First opened in 1884, London’s Madame Tussauds Waxworks Museum exhibits waxwork figures of celebrities. Its reputation for quality and innovation quickly made it the world’s most prestigious waxworks – the predecessor of those later opening in different cities including Amsterdam, Bangkok, Berlin, Blackpool, Hollywood, Hong Kong, Las Vegas, New York, Shanghai, Washington and Vienna.

    The figures are presented at different exhibitions by categories. At the VIP party you can mingle with the celebrities at a celebration where the guests include Morgan Freeman, Leonardo di Caprio, Nicole Kidman, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. In the Sports Zone you can meet great sportsmen as Mohammed Ali and Tiger Woods. That is unless you prefer to rub elbows with the Prince Charles and Elizabeth II and other Royals. And for a bit of culture why not come and meet some of world’s great masterminds including William Shakespeare, Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking, Pablo Picasso and Charles Darwin.

    You can also have your photo taken with your choice of world leader – choose from Barack Obama, Margaret Thatcher, Winston Churchill, Nicolas Sarkozy, Ronald Reagan, Tony Blair and Martin Luther King. Kids will love watching some of their favourite Marvel superheroes fight evil in an entertaining 4D movie. You will also be able to take part in Pirates of the Caribbean with Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp), Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) and Will Turner (Orlando Bloom).

    Come aboard the Flying Dutchman and experience the smells, sounds and sensations of a real pirate ship for yourself. You will scream your lungs out to escape from the Chamber of Horrors the lair of the world’s most notorious serial killers are kept. Are you brave enough to leave with a smile on your face?

    And now introducing Star Wars™ at Madame Tussauds: a unique, immersive experience starring extraordinarily life-like wax figures of your favourite heroes and villains of Star Wars™ Episodes I-VI. The figures appear in authentic walk-in sets inspired by key scenes from the movies. Dynamic special effects add to the immersion, as fans step right into, and star in, some of the most iconic moments in film history.

  • Day 4

    After breakfast, check out and transfer to Saint Pancras station on your own to take your train to Paris. Arrive Paris and transfer to your hotel on your own. Check in and the rest of the day is free. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 5

    After breakfast proceed for the Paris Seinorama tour – Capture the essence of the city during this enveloping tour of Paris. The Paris Seinorama tour shows you Paris from two different angles: above and below. Enjoy panoramic views of the capital from above as you ascend the statuesque Eiffel Tower, then cruise the River Seine and be captivated by an all together different view of the sights from below.

    A strong characteristic of the French people is the respect they have for their history. The result of this preservation of the past has greatly contributed to the beauty of Paris today. The Paris Seinorama tour gives you every opportunity to see all the wonderful facets of this unique city and culture.

    Travel to the River Seine via the Place de la Concorde, Champs Elysées and Arc de Triomphe. Then towards the 16th district, known as one of the most prestigious and residential areas in Paris and home to the celebrated Bois de Boulogne, created by Napoleon III at the end of the 19th century.

    Stop at the Quai de la Bourdonnais and board the Bateaux Parisiens boat for a one hour cruise along the River Seine. Gliding through the river, the cruise offers a commentary to point out the illustrious sights and stunning bridges along the route, with many interesting facts and stories relating to the history and development along the riverside.

    On leaving the cruise ascend the famous Eiffel Tower lift as far as the 2nd floor. From this point, your guide will point out the principal landmarks of the city spread out before you.

  • Day 6

    Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for the Louvre – Skip the queues with our fast entrance ticket, after which you will be introduced to the Museum and given your own personal audio guide of the museum, which is available in one of several languages. Upon entry you will be provided with a map of the museum, providing you with the information of where all the individual pieces are and giving you the opportunity to plan your own tour at your leisure! The map will suggest routes for you, based on time, art styles and artists, ensuring you get the best experience.

    Be taken in by the art and culture within the Louvre as the audio guide takes you on a journey through the history and context of the pieces within the museum. Witness some of the world’s most renowned pieces of art, including the Venus De Milo, a relic from Ancient Greece which is over 2,000 years old! Catch a glimpse of possibly the most famous painting the world has ever known, Leonardo Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. With the help of your audio guide, learn about the history of each individual piece and how they came to be and how they have ended up in the Louvre today. The Louvre museum is one of the most famous museums in the world for a good reason, come and witness the spectacular art and culture within for yourself!

  • Day 8

    Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for Mount Titlis – Live the high life on Mount Titlis with this exhilarating full-day guided tour to the summit of one of the most emblematic peaks in the Alps. From Zurich we will take you on a scenic coach journey southwards through picturesque landscapes via the Albis Pass and along the shores of the Lake of the Four Forested Cantons (as Lake Lucerne is romantically called in German) to Lucerne.

    We’ll stop in this historic city for a brief tour of the main sights, including the Lion Monument, which was described by Mark Twain as ‘the most mournful and moving piece of stone in the world’. You will then have some time to explore the Old Town at your own leisure. Admire the frescoed façades and fairytale turrets of the narrow streets and marvel at the wooden Chapel Bridge.

    Afterwards, we’ll continue our journey to Engelberg, the picture-postcard alpine village nestling at the foot of Mount Titlis. We’ll take a number of cable cars to reach the summit, which is more than 3,000 metres above sea level. Enjoy the spectacular sight of the glacier’s deep crevasses and gigantic ice boulders from the revolving gondola lift, allowing you an unrestricted 360-degree view of the landscape.

    At the top of Mount Titlis, a high alpine panorama awaits you. Enjoy magnificent views of the Alps from the restaurants or the sun terrace. Visit the shimmering 350-metre-long Ice Grotto or take a ride with the IceFlyer, which brings you close to the crevasses.

  • Day 9

    Breakfast at the hotel. Today proceed for Rhine Fall – Come face to face with the power of nature with this guided tour to one of Europe’s most impressive natural attractions. The Rhine Falls is the largest waterfall in the continent, with a drop of 23 metres and a breathtaking width of 150 metres.

    The visit to the falls is the highlight of the trip, which also takes in the picturesque landscape of northern Switzerland, a quaint village and an immaculately preserved Renaissance town.

    Driving north from Zurich towards the German border, you will pass a stunning lower Alpine landscape that is famed for its vineyards. We’ll cross the picture-postcard village farming village of Marthalen. Almost every building appears to be a traditional whitewashed half-timbered house.

    In Schaffhausen, the town closest to the falls, you will see the 16th century Munot Fortress atop a hill overlooking the old town, which boasts a series of frescoed Renaissance façades.

    By now your appetite will have been whetted in expectation of the main event: the stunning Rhine Falls. When Frankenstein author Mary Shelley visited the falls, she described them as ‘exceeding anything I had ever before seen’. More than 160 years later, the sensation is the same for many visitors. Some of the views of the falls are simply jaw dropping. Allow yourself to be thrilled by this awe-inspiring natural phenomenon. As an optional extra, you can reach the rock in the middle of the falls by boat and get right into the breathtaking falls.

  • Day 13

    Breakfast at the hotel.In this half day tour you will get the opportunity to beat the queues and discover the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel with no hassle. When you arrive, your guide will take you straight though into the museums where you will visit one of the most important collections of art in the world. Admire the famous spiral staircase, the Gallery of Tapestries and the Gallery of Maps before arriving at the Sistine Chapel and the unforgettable Basilica of Saint Peter. Explore one of the world’s most important religious sites with this Tour of the Vatican City.

    Walk around the Vatican Museums with more than 2,000 rooms and nine miles of the largest art collection in the world. Decorated with exquisite taste and full of works of art, the museum is packed with treasure and history.   • Day 14

    After breakfast –proceed for a tour of the Ancient Rome – Discover the main attractions of Ancient Rome in this comprehensive tour and beat the queues at the Colosseum and the Palatine Hill. Admire the spectacular Arch of Constantine and climb the Palatine Hill following the steps of Julius Caesar along the Via Sacra. This guided tour is ideal for anyone visiting Rome for the first time and is a perfect introduction to Ancient Rome.

    In three hours you will have plenty of time to discover several of the main attractions and will have the opportunity to learn all about the fascinating history of the eternal city. First you will enjoy panoramic views over the Colosseum from the top of the Oppian Hill before getting skip the line entry to the Colosseum itself, beating the queues. Once inside, your official guide will tell you all about the bloody history of this ancient amphitheatre with tales of gladiators, simulated battles and executions.

    After a brief stop at the Arch of Constantine we will move on to the Palatine Hill, the most famous of Rome’s Seven Hills. From there you will be able to enjoy splendid views over the Roman Forum and Nero’s Circus Maximus. Then we walk down the Via Sacra, or Sacred Way, the ceremonial way that crosses the Forum. The excursion ends at the temple that houses the altar where the remains of Julius Caesar were cremated.
